Set to be released on May 3, Unfrosted delves into the rivalry between Kellogg’s and Post Cereal as they compete to invent a groundbreaking breakfast treat in the early 1960s. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Fred Armisen, and Amy Schumer, with supporting roles from Jack McBrayer, Bobby Moynihan, and Maria Bakalova. An exclusive image reveals Seinfeld as Bob Cabana and McCarthy as Donna Stankowski sharing a scene.

Despite the impressive lineup of comedic talent, Seinfeld confesses that the highlight of the film was working with Hugh Grant, who portrays the iconic Tony the Tiger, the mascot for Frosties. Seinfeld raves about Grant’s comedic abilities, particularly his wit and humor. ‘They’re all so talented and funny, but honestly, the biggest thrill of the whole thing was Hugh Grant. He’s so damn funny,’ Seinfeld remarks. He fondly recalls the banter and playful arguments they had on set, stating, ‘You should’ve heard us screaming at each other on set. I was saying to him: ‘You don’t know anything about comedy. You just know how to be witty in a pub. Here in America, we’ve got to get real laughs.’

Seinfeld’s praise for Grant’s comedic talent highlights the British actor’s resurgence in the comedy genre, following his roles in films like Wonka and Paddington 2. Their collaboration on Unfrosted proved to be a great experience for Seinfeld, who appreciated Grant’s contribution to the film.

Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story is set to hit screens on May 3, offering audiences a hilarious and lighthearted comedy experience. For more details about the film and other exciting content, be sure to grab a copy of the latest issue of Total Film, available on March 28.
