They claim that their mods, originally created for the PC version of Star Wars: Battlefront 2, were included in the Classic Collection for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch without giving credit to the original creators. One of their mods involved bringing the Xbox-exclusive character Asajj Ventress to the PC version as a reskin of Aayla Secura, complete with different attacking animations.

Reddit users were quick to notice that Ventress didn’t look quite right in the Classic Collection’s launch, and iamashaymin confirmed that their mod had indeed been used without proper acknowledgement. They even shared footage of another modded character, Kit Fisto, allegedly running on the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Aspyr, the developer of Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, had previously stated that they would not include any uncredited content in the final release. However, iamashaymin claims that the mod files were quickly patched out after being discovered. This has left the modder frustrated, as it raises concerns about the company’s credibility and their appreciation for the passion of the fans.
