A new trailer has been released, giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. While the trailer doesn’t reveal too much, it does hint at the exciting premise of the season. The Hashira, who are the world’s elite demon slayers, will be training the entire Demon Slayer Corps in their fight against the formidable Muzan Kibutsuji. Of course, this includes our beloved heroes Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.

The 90-second teaser primarily features clips from the To The Hashira Training movie that was released worldwide in February. The second half of the movie will be aired as an hour-long episode when the series returns in May. This upcoming season will adapt chapters 128-136 of the manga written by Koyoharu Gotouge.

Speculation on Season 4 Length

There has been some speculation about the length of the new season. Since the source material for the Hashira Training arc is relatively short and there is still the Infinity Castle/Final Battle arc to cover, some fans are concerned that we might only get a super-short season. One fan expressed their hope on Twitter, saying, “Hopefully they are not going to milk that Hashira training arc. It’s very short in the manga so just drop like 5 or 6 episodes max.”

Another fan commented, “They decided to make season 4 a training arc with just 9 chapters which is like 5 episodes max. That could easily have been in season 3 and we still don’t know if the Infinity Castle arc will be a movie or season.”

What to Expect from the Hashira Training Arc

As we eagerly await more information about Demon Slayer’s release plans, it remains to be seen whether we will get a mini-season followed by a movie or something else entirely. For now, mark your calendars for the Hashira Training arc premiering this May.
