Paramount+ has released the trailer for the highly anticipated new animated series, Dora. The show, featuring all-new CG animation and captivating storylines, follows the beloved bilingual explorer, Dora, and her friends on epic adventures in a whimsical rainforest. Fans of the original Dora the Explorer will be delighted to know that Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora, will be returning to the show as Mami. Joining the cast this season are guest stars Taboo as Quickatoo and Kate del Castillo as Ale the Alebrije.

The upcoming Dora series will feature all-new CG animation and captivating character-driven storylines. Viewers will follow the beloved bilingual explorer, Dora, and her loyal monkey friend, Boots, as they embark on epic adventures in a whimsical rainforest. Guided by the trustworthy Map, Dora and her friends must work together to overcome obstacles while facing off against the mischievous fox, Swiper. The series, consisting of 26 CG-animated episodes, will premiere on Friday, April 12, exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia.
In addition to Kathleen Herles, Mike Smith Rivera joins the cast as Papi. Other cast members include Maria Canals-Barrera as Abuela, Danny Burstein as Grumpy Old Troll and The Fiesta Trio’s Frog and Marmoset, Katarina Sky as Backpack, Donovan Monzon-Sanders as Tico, Tandi Fomukong as Isa, Quintún Muñoz as Benny, Chris Gifford as Big Red Chicken, and Anairis Quiñones as The Fiesta Trio’s Armadillo.

In addition to the new animated series, fans can also look forward to Dora’s Recipe for Adventure, a 10-episode podcast series by Nickelodeon. This podcast, designed for preschoolers and families, revolves around Dora and celebrates culture, food, family, and self-acceptance. Furthermore, the comedy film Dora and the Lost City of Gold was released in 2019, and the animated film Dora and the Fantastical Creatures premiered last year.
