Paramount and Nickelodeon have officially confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated sequel of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Fans of the weapon-wielding, pizza-loving turtles will have to wait patiently until October 9, 2026, for the next installment.

The previous movie, titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, was released in August 2023 and proved to be a huge success. With a star-studded voice cast including Seth Rogen, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, John Cena, Paul Rudd, and Jackie Chan, the film received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Director Jeff Rowe, who co-wrote and directed the first film, will be returning for the sequel.
While details about the plot are currently under wraps, the ending of Mutant Mayhem hinted at the appearance of the turtles’ arch-nemesis, Shredder. Rowe has hinted that the sequel will explore the turtles facing a foe that is even more terrifying than anything they have encountered before.
Paw Patrol Movie: Coming Soon
In addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Paramount also announced the upcoming release of a new Paw Patrol movie. This animated feature is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
