Michael Chiklis Debunks Fantastic Four Leak and Teases MCU Casting

Chiklis clarified on Twitter that the grainy set picture circulating was indeed fake, disappointing fans who were hoping for his return. However, he did mention that he knows who they are casting for the role. While he didn’t reveal the actor’s name, he expressed his support and wished him luck and success.

This revelation has sparked even more speculation about the casting of The Thing in the upcoming Fantastic Four film directed by Matt Shakman, set to release on May 2, 2025. Previous reports suggested that Pedro Pascal was being considered for the role of Mister Fantastic, and Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn were rumored for Sue Storm and Johnny Storm, respectively. Additionally, Ebon Moss-Bacharach has reportedly been cast and may potentially take over the role of The Thing from Chiklis.
