Kicking off in May is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White & Green, a unique anthology series that brings together acclaimed comics creators to tell new short stories using only black, white, and green art. The series will feature talents such as Jock, Declan Shalvey, Paulina Ganucheau, and Javier Rodriguez. The first issue will showcase covers by Declan Shalvey, James Stokoe, Dan Berger, and Paulina Ganucheau.

Following in June are two oversized one-shots. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Alpha will set the stage for the future of the TMNT universe with two new tales. One story, by Tom Waltz and Gavin Smith, takes place after the events of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #150 and features Jennika, the fifth Turtle. The second story serves as a prelude to Jason Aaron’s upcoming relaunch of the series.

Another one-shot arriving in June is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Usagi Yojimbo: Saturday Morning Adventures. Inspired by the 1987 TMNT animated series, this special issue brings together the Turtles and their occasional ally Usagi Yojimbo in a nostalgic adventure. The story is written by Erik Burnham and illustrated by Jack Lawrence, and features covers by Jack Lawrence, Chris Jones, Jon Sommariva, and Stan Sakai, the creator of Usagi Yojimbo.

For fans seeking a superhero spin-off, TMNT: Nightwatcher is a new ongoing series written by Juni Ba and illustrated by Fero Pe. The story follows a mysterious vigilante who fights against violence and discrimination targeting mutants. Ba promises action-packed adventures with a blend of heartfelt stories and Saturday morning cartoon vibes.

Last but not least, TMNT: Mutant Nation is a new ongoing series by veteran Turtles writers Tom Waltz and Sophie Campbell. The book, featuring a diverse cast of characters and settings, serves as a celebration of IDW’s long history with TMNT.

The first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White and Green will be released on May 8, followed by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Alpha on June 5, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Usagi Yojimbo: Saturday Morning Adventures on June 12. TMNT: Nightwatcher is set to publish in August, with Mutant Nation following in September.

TMNT fans have a lot to look forward to as IDW continues to expand and evolve the beloved franchise.
