Frasier Season 2 Renewed: Kelsey Grammer’s Beloved Sitcom Continues

The second season of Frasier will continue to be filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, as stated by Paramount. The series follows the next chapter in the life of Frasier Crane (played by Kelsey Grammer) as he returns to Boston to face new challenges, build new relationships, and hopefully fulfill some old dreams.

Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+, expressed his excitement about Kelsey Grammer’s triumphant return as one of television’s most iconic and beloved characters. He mentioned that the new series has introduced Frasier to a whole new generation while reminding longtime fans of Kelsey’s timeless portrayal of Dr. Crane. Grossman added that they are eagerly looking forward to what the creative team and talented cast have in store for the second season.

Kelsey Grammer himself commented on the renewal, describing Frasier as a love story and expressing his happiness that they will be able to continue it. He expressed his delight that CBS Studios and Paramount+ are on board for another season and eagerly anticipates the fans’ response to what they have planned.

In addition to Kelsey Grammer, the cast of Frasier includes Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Frasier’s son, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier’s old college friend turned university professor, Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department, Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Freddy’s roommate, and Anders Keith as David, Frasier’s nephew.

Paramount did not provide a specific release date for Frasier Season 2. However, the first season is currently available exclusively for streaming on Paramount+.
